San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - San Diego Padres pitcher Dustin Moseley underwent season-ending surgery Wednesday to repair the capsule and labrum in his left shoulder. Padres team physicians Dr. Heinz Hoenecke, Dr. Daniel Keefe and Dr. Jan Fronek performed the arthroscopic procedure at Scripps Clinic in Carmel Valley. Moseley is expected to be ready for spring training. Moseley had dislocated his shoulder several times this season, prompting the team to opt for surgery, according to MLB.com.
